From Land's End to John o'Groats by bus pass

It took Richard Elloway exactly one week, six hours and 10 minutes to complete the journey, consisting entirely of local bus routes, but it did not cost him a penny.

Mr Elloway's trip began at 10.35am on April 1, the day on which the new bus passes were introduced, and ended last Tuesday evening at 4.45pm when he was driven by bus to the most northerly point of Scotland.
