About Me
I was born in the front bedroom of 1 Ariel Way, Fleetwood on the 15 August 1937.
I went to Manor Road, Milton Street and Bailey Secondary Modern in Beach Road schools.
I trained as a roofer until doing my National Service with the Loyal Regiment serving in Malaya during the Emergency there, (so called, as so, they didn't have to pay us active service money).
After that I joined my brother-in-law electrician in Civil engineering, becoming very involved in the Trade Union and politics in general.
