Head for New Heights "a Great Sucess"

The North EustonFirst taster session a huge success
Tuesday 4th August

The first taster sessions at the North Euston Hotel were a great success heralded project chief Cllr Mike Sanderson, " we had a quality array of start up business projects to get our teeth into, making Head for New Heights a great success".

A good cross section of new start up schemes gave presenter Cllr Tony Morley of Training Matters and Shaun Hartley of Hartley Marketing plenty of chance to show their expertise which was readily welcomed by all attendees. Also on hand to give financial assistance were Business managers Matt Cross from banking giant RBS and Simon Holden from Nat West.

Visiting distinguished guests were non other than Cllr May Ghandi (deputy Mayor) and Cllr Ramesh Ghandi and Cllr Tom Balmain who engaged with the session with great interest and left being most impressed. Later in the day Cllr Mark Hamer also looked in to offer his support. As did Charles Yost the Economic Development officer for Wyre who gave invaluable advise on strategic planning.

All the attendees went away with plenty of information and advise to set them up for ongoing mentoring by the experts. Hopefully we shall have some quality new businesses for Fleetwood from the scheme said Cllr Sanderson which is just what we need to assist in bringing us out of this recession.
