About Me

I am employed by Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service working from Blackpool Fire Station.  As you can imagine Blackpool is a lively town which helps us to keep busy with not just attending fires and road accidents but with fire safety activities. The Fire Service has been most kind in allowing some time to attend meetings at Wyre Borough Council and I thank them for that facility.

My hobbies include playing golf at Knott End Golf Links and with enjoying my families hobbies of motorcycle grasstrack racing by my eldest son and various equestrian pursuits of my wife. I also follow with great interest the possible speedway racing career of a young man in a neighbouring village.  He is very talented indeed and has just returned to the track after a very serious accident.
