About Me

I was born in Bolton in 1945.
I moved into Preesall in 1975 two days before my birthday (22ndOctober)

My wife is Yvonne and we were married forty years ago in 1968. Stephen and Antony are my boys although they are now grown up. Stephen has two children Hanna thirteen and Luke seven.
I am a fully licensed radio amateur 
I was always intersted in politics even when I was having a one way conversation with the T.V.
I becam a councillor because I thought Preesall could be improved.

I was elected as a councillor in 1991
I am interested in planning and the physical as opposed to the social working of the borough
The best thing about being a councillor is being involved in the day to day running of the borough the worst thing is the frustration at the slow speed things change.
