Fleetwood Heritage Open Days

As Wyre's Heritage Champion I am so pleased to tell you about the wonderful 4 days that will be taking place in Fleetwood in September these days are from Thursday 9th to Sunday 12th September 2010.

There is so much going on in all parts of the town and so much to see, one of the places is St Nicholas' Church and that brings fond memories for me for as a child my friend Jean and myself went to the old wooden Church and we sold many paper bricks to go the funding of the new Church. Then you go and see the old Coast Guard station and that to has memories for me as one of my uncles back when it was first built was one of the first volunteer's to watch there.

I could go on and on for my personal memories but why not relive your own by having at least one of these days to go and look round our hertiatage.
