Clean Sweep is to sweep into Rossall ward 2nd November

Early this year I asked if I could have a Clean Sweep for my ward "Rossall Ward" in Fleetwood and was so pleased when this was given to go ahead. It will involve different agencies and partners. The aim is to literally clean up the full ward which means clean streets and to try and clean the streets from crime and what that involves such as graffiti vandalism.

There will be skips placed in different parts of the ward and these have been paid for by the Council and by Wyre Housing. They will be manned because not everything can be put into them, such as fridges and TV's.

The clean Sweep week starts from 2nd November and ends on 7th November and that is so a clean can take place after Bonfire night.

It is hoped after this clean sweep our ward will keep clean and make our area a cleaner and nicer place to live.
