Wood to be Cleared

It is well over 10 years ago now that the wood at Broadwater had any mayor work done but hopefully work will soon start on the wood if the Cabinet pass at the next Cabinet meeting on Monday 22nd September.

I am hoping this will happen as these woods are quite close to my family, one of my ancestor's did have shooting rights on the woods and they did either rent or own them. A great Aunt and Uncle of mine owned the house that backs on to these woods " Landscrona ". My Uncle was from Sweden an d he called the house after the Town in Sweden were he was born and brought up in.

It will be a pleasant place to visit once the work has been and I hope we all in Fleetwood take care when we visit the woods we do not have that much open space left in the Town and so it is good to respect what we do have.
